Meeting Minutes—Orlova Dolina Birthday Moot, May 4, 2008

Meeting was short, addressing a couple of quick issues. The primary business meeting will be held on Sunday May 11, 2008.

It was brought up that due to space concerns as well as potential conflict with Rose Acres farming operations that there is the potential need to relocate the site of Haymaker's Harvest to another venue.

Rochelle (mundane name) suggested Norway Beach, where she and Gier were married. It is located approximately five miles west of Cass Lake and the following site features were discussed.
-It has a group rate for the camp site.
-The site is wet, but no glass bottles are allowed.
-The site has a variety of fire rings located throughout the individual camp sites.
-There is a covered picnic area, able to seat many.
-The site is a National Forest.

Rochelle agreed to investigate the specifics of the site in relation to our event.

The second issue addressed was another potential issue related to the device. Evan Jons discussed the device with a well placed herald he knows, she had no trouble with the device, but did question the possibility that the double headed eagle may be in conflict with a modern national symbol.

Evan asked us to scan the image and send it to him so he can relay the image to his herald associate and get a final determination.
