Lodging is available on site in well appointed, communal cabins. More details soon.
Lists of hotels will be provided soon, those with blocks of rooms for discount will be noted.
There will be limited crash space with Orlova Dolina's families.

Also, please note there is a Shriner's gathering that same weekend, so I am including hotels not in the SCA blocks as well.

No block rates, a bit further from the site than the other hotels, but very nice, new, and clean. A bit more pricey than the other options.
These are by no means the only lodging options in Bemidji, but they are the hotels closest to the site and willing to do a block rate. There is one place closer to the site, Ruttger's Birchmont Lodge. Short of camping, it is THE closest place to stay to the site and has very reasonable rates as well (cheaper than most hotels, even with block rates and the rooms and cabins are nice and clean).
Ruttgers
Finally, if you wish to camp, there is a state park near the event site with great camping facilities. It is Lake Bemidji State Park. More information and reservations can be found here:
http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/lake_bemidji/index.html
Finally, a note about crash space. We will have limited crash space available, for information regarding crash space contact Victor at peacesun@gmail.com.
There is also camping available on private property close to the event.
There will be limited space in cabins on the site itself, with some being reserved for the royalty already. More details need to be worked out with the site coordinator and he is unavailable for the next week, so more on the on site cabins as soon as I can nail down some details. An important detail to remember about the cabins on site, is that the site is absolutely bone dry.
Prices
You get one bed of a bunk for $12.50 per night if you provide your own bedding.
You get one bed of a bunk for $25.00 per night if you have the camp make your bed for you.
There is a breakfast availaible only to people staying in the on site cabins both Saturday and Sunday morning for $7.50 (each morning, price is per person). The breakfast menu is as follows:
To get breakfast, you MUST make your reservations prior to September 7, however breakfast reservation must be reserved by August 30th.
-
Saturday:
American Style:
- milk, organge juice
- pancakes with syrup and butter
- strawberries
- bacon
-
Sunday:
- apple juice, milk
- Bauernfruestuck
- (onions, green peppers, eggs, hashbrowns, wurst all mixed together)
- Hard rolls with butter and strawberry jam
German Style:
A final note about the cabins. They each have bunk beds, and in most cases there are three bunk beds per sleeping room, with 3-6 sleeping rooms per cabin. There is a central common room with a table and benches and a large restroom with individual shower stalls set up in each. They are very comfortable, clean and well furnished, but they are intended for teenagers.
When we book you, unless you request being all crammed together, we will *try* to keep it one adult per bunk bed, and unless that fills up we will try to keep anyone from having to climb to the top.
Also note that this is a bone dry site, that includes the cabins, so please keep that in mind when deciding whether or not to reserve a cabin.
As with our food reservations, we need no advance payment, but we do need the following information:
- A name for the party.
- The number of people staying, number of breakfasts on Saturday, and number of breakfasts on Sunday. Like the lunch and feast reservations, if you did not reserve in advance you will not have the meal available).
- You will pay us at the time you pay your site fee (we pay the camp after the event).
- Whether you have any special access needs in your party. There are a number of fully handicap accessible cabins, but not all of them.
- When the inviduals check in with us at troll, they will need the name of their party, and they will pay individually for their cabin rental and breakfast tickets.
The prices for breakfast and cabin beds are the same for both adults and children, though an infant/toddler will not be charged assuming they are sleeping in a porta crib or the like.
